  • Chicken breast
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 medium carrots (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  • 1 lb dry fettuccine pasta
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Following are the instructions that you need to follow to make delicious and super-quick chicken pot pie fettuccine:

  1. Take a 4- quart pot and melt 4 tablespoon butter over medium heat
  2. When the butter is completely melted, gradually beat 4 tablespoons all-purpose white flour
  3. Whisk the mixture of butter and flour until it is thick and smooth
  4. Add 4 cups of chicken broth into the mixture
  5. Then add 3 cups of milk into the mixture
  6. Let the mixture to boil and reduce heat to medium-low
  7. Then add dry fettuccine and bring mixture to a simmering
  8. Keep stirring to incorporate pasta underneath the mixture
  9. In a separate saucepan, sauté chicken, diced onions, chopped carrots, celery, and garlic in olive
    oil over medium-high heat
  10. Sauté until veggies are tender and the chicken color is no longer pink
  11. Now add the veggies and chicken into the pot
  12. Reduce heat to medium and keep pasta at a simmer
  13. Stir occasionally until sauce begins to thicken and pasta is tender and creamy about 25 minutes
  14. Then remove pasta from heat and season with fresh parsley and salt and pepper to taste
Extra tip

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if you want. To give an extra boost of flavor, add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and onion powder into the chicken broth.
