Hungry? Need something super delicious? So, here we are going to make a skillet shepherd’s pie. So, it is super easy to cook you know. Certainly, the great advantage of it is that it is cooked in only one pan, O wow! No piles of utensils to wash out. Only one pan and recipe are ready. Therefore, It is usually made with lamb meat. Meanwhile, the mashed potatoes are loaded over it and it gives it a completely different texture. In other words, it is super easy to cook and yummy to serve on the table. It is also called cottage pie.

Note the difference between the two; Shepherd’s pie and cottage pie?
Shepherd’s pie is mostly cooked with the meat of lamb and cottage pie is usually cooked with the beef. This is the difference between the two only.
Another very interesting fact about Shepherd pie is that in Scotland, Scottish people load beef with the pastry, not with the mashed potatoes. So, does it sounds interesting? I will try it out someday for sure.
INGREDIENTS FOR SKILLET SHEPHERD’S PIE
1 pound of ground beef needed
1cup of sliced onions
Two cups of frozen corn softened
2 cups of frozen peas, melted
2 tablespoon of ketchup needed
1 tablespoon of sauce called the Worcestershire sauce
needed
Minced garlic 2 teaspoons needed
Cornstarch 1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon of the beef bouillon granules
Coldwater ½ cup
1/2 of sore cream
3 ½ cup of crushed potatoes and made it with milk and
butter
3 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
RECIPE FOR SKILLET SHEPHERD’S PIE
Firstly, take a skillet and cook beef and onions in it over medium to low heat. After that, wait for the beef to turn into pink. Then, sprinkle all the corn, sauce, garlic, ketchup, and Worcestershire on it. Finally, cook it on medium heat for almost 5 minutes.
Secondly, you have to integrate the cornstarch, the bouillon, and water then mix it completely; after that mix the beef mixture and let it boil. Then heat it for two minutes straight. Finally put in the sore cream on it and cook it but do not let it boil.
Thirdly, take potatoes and minced them off and now add them on the top of the beef and spray the cheese. Finally, we are going to cook for the time till the potatoes are cooked and cheese is completely thawed.

Can the beef mixture be freeze?
That is to say, yes, you can use frozen beef. But for this do not add the sore cream in it. In short, partly melt it in the refrigerator, warm it in a skillet, and if essential add water in it.
